Revolutionary App QRuPI Launched at MCC Malang City
Blimbing (malangkota.go.id) – Acting Mayor of Malang Dr. Ir. Wahyu Hidayat, MM together with CEO of Jaxer Soemitra Nusantara (Jaxer Indonesia) Ansari Kadir officially launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-based application, QR for Indonesian Students (QRuPI) at Malang Creative Center (MCC) Malang City, Wednesday (7/8/2024).
In addition to the CEO of Jaxer Indonesia who was present accompanied by Faizal Abdullah as an advisor, also attended on this occasion the ranks of related regional apparatus, students, teachers, and principals from elementary and junior high school levels in Malang City.
In his remarks, the Acting Mayor of Malang expressed his appreciation to Jaxer Indonesia as the company that oversees QRuPI for choosing Malang City as the first launch location. According to him, the AI-based QRuPI application will certainly make it easier. “We really appreciate what Jaxer is doing. We have tested it in several schools in Malang City, and the results are extraordinary,” Wahyu explained.
Wahyu said that the launch of this revolutionary application will make it easier for teachers and parents, and that it is hoped that the education system in Indonesia will be more advanced. He believes that Malang City, which is known as the City of Education, is the right place to start the introduction and application of QRuPI.
Meanwhile, CEO of Jaxer Indonesia Ansari Kadir revealed that QRuPI is here to overcome the classic problem of students, namely about discipline during the learning process. He said that this application is very safe, and will be very beneficial to the world of education.
Ansari Kadir emphasized the simplicity of QRuPI’s operation. Each student will get five badges with QR on school clothes and can be used for one year. Teachers will scan through their cellphones every day to record student activities.
Ansari explained, “In schools that implement QRuPI, teachers will easily monitor the development of students. Parents at home can also be calm because they are also monitoring.”
Even after graduation, teachers and parents will know the character that matches their child, because QRuPI is the first educational application in Indonesia to use AI technology. (cah/yon)
